Dinosaur Discovery Day

Saturday, December 6, 9 am to 5 pm

Dino-might! This whole day is devoted to digging into dinosaurs. How do scientists learn about dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals? Displays, crafts, very special guests, and activities throughout the museum focus on the science of paleontology. Take part in a fossil dig, perform a dino puppet show, watch dino-flicks and take home a dino craft. We'll have activities for the whole family: dinosaur facts and fun on all four floors! Sponsored by the State Street Area Association and UM Credit Union.

November is American Diabetes Month, and to help communicate the seriousness of diabetes and the importance of proper diabetes control, the Exhibit Museum presents free showings of "Our Cells, Our Selves” in the Museum Planetarium, Saturday mornings at 10:30 AM in November. The 16-minute show is appropriate for school-aged children, and will be followed with a brief star talk about the current night sky.
