 Grades 3 - Adult
Sky Legends of the Three Fires
- Length: approximately 45 minutes
- Format: Pre-recorded with live portion
- Price: $3.50 per person
This program is available from mid-November to mid-March only, out of respect for the Native American tribes who traditionally tell stories only when animals are hibernating. Tales related to the night sky and how it formed are included, and come from the “Three Fires” people, the Ojibwa, Odawa, and Bodewadimi of Michigan. A night sky discussion is included. We recommend that this program be accompanied by our tour, Anishinabek: People of the Great Lakes, but each is available separately.
